Diagnosis
Large species (3.9 mm); petiole short, 1.4X as long as width of base, smooth and shiny; posterior margin of first gastral tergite sinuate. Similar to gigas, differs in having shorter funicular segments, ratios length/width: I=1.9, II=2.0, III=1.6; longer nucha (0.5X the length of propodeum); hind tibial spur dark brown; costal cell with a complete row of setae ventrally; fore wing infuscate; petiole smooth and shiny; gaster longer (MM/LG= 0.8).

Biology
From larva of Conotrachelus perseae (Coleoptera: Curculionidae), some from seeds of avocado.
